I find 35's ride heaps better than little tyres, I brought mine second hand and they balanced up spot on, it depends on the dude balancing them. They do have to use a lot more weight though in some cases. Mine suck a bit of power too.

The main reason for this thread was just to see if anyone on here thought my approach to finding the right size tyre was a good idea or not. No point spending $$$ on tyres that you're not going to like in the long run hey?

I think that 35s are a nice tyre for highway cruising, the ride well and balance up ok.... the only down side is u sacrifice fule efficiency and acceleration around town.
I run 38s on the MQ and they still balanced up fine until i got the flipped rims, now i need a sh1t load of weights, but they still balance....
The GQ runs 33's and they are fine also, prefer them 100 percent over the 31s that were on it.....

Once i get the bodylift in this week, i'll just have to wait and see what comes up for sale in the wheels and tyres section on here. Still tossing up on beadlock rims though.
The guy i borrowed them off uses those wheels and tyres for competition. He said he used to run second air's, but had nothing but trouble with roll-off and flats. He's used the beadlocks in three comps now and hasn't had a flat yet.
This set might be up for sale soon, as he is sponsored and will probly get a whole new setup for next year. I've already got first dibs.
