I figured the spring mount use to hold the weight of the vehicle it can easly handle diff pressure. plus it has alot of other advantages like allowing to angle the rear arms, and it's also tucked up far enough not to get caught on but slide.
Using Nissan GQ patrol bush's (they are used in the upper links in the rear of GQ's). give really good flex without wearing out like alot of other joints.
updates

by the end of the weekend I am aiming to have the engine and box adaptor finished, both front and rear diffs in except for the front panhard as I haven't decided on the ride height exactly.
seem to be close to on track, I'm alittle bit behind on what I have set out for the next 2 weeks, but as long as everything is done except for the cage by the June long weekend I wil be sweet as I will do it then.

how did you adapt the gear box up to the transfer

Got lucky there.
Was able to get it off Sam and the guys at Haultech already with the box. but have a spare transfercase and shaft ready to fit another box.

engine to gearbox adaptor is done, front suspension mounts done (but 3rd link chassis mount). reinforced where engine mounts go. made and fitted crossmember under gearbox
didn't get to make front arms as the mill wasn't working

Good stuff DAS. Is the tip of the A frame where it goes to single tube near the roase joint going to be strong enough to withstand the lateral forces on the axle?

no...it's still got to have plate welded to it at an angle from the ouside part to the very end (you will see later)

Das,
Spherical rod ends (like you have on your rear A-frame) do not usually have a very high load rating in the axial direction.
I believe you would be better off to change the mount on the top of the diff so that the bolt is vertical. Then the side loading from the axle will act radially on the rod end.
hey there

Hey all,
not getting much sleep at all....and not looking good, afew things are taking longer than planned and afew extra things are needed to be made.
But I'm not giving up yet.

Parts needed
Nissan front diff parts, from swivel ball out including brakes and free wheeling hubs. also need rear rubber brake lines for the nissan (they have 2 small ones between the caliper and the steel line on the diff casing)
but there is alot of little things to do.
mount steering box, make steeling arms, make bracket for bottom of steering coloum, make panhard rod. wire motor to loom (almost sorted that) get and fit front locker and assemble front diff, make 3rd link mount for the front suspension, fit thermo fans and wire, make and fit prop shafts
and ontop of that there is the barwork.
I'll keep going on it till it's done, it's not over till 10am sat morning when comp starts !!!
