I know of an xr6 motor for sale and this would be awesome for grunt but the adaptor thing is a prob.

Keep the info flowing but I need it ha ha

marks probably make an adaptor i know they make one for 6cyl ford to mq patrol.

tb42e turbo and engine management

I think you will find that the adaptoer is for an old cross flow falcon to MQ and not the new BA motor. Marks needs to have a good demand for the BA 6 cylinder before they will engineer an adapter.

i'd be pretty sure the ba wouldnt have changed the bellhousing bolt pattern from the au which was the same as the ea, and i know that the starter is the same from really early falcons xl is the same as el so how much difference could there be???

starter is on the RHS on the pre EA motors from EA to BA the starter is on the LHS and the bellhousings have the same bolt up from EA onwards although they are slightly different around where the alloy sump bolts up to the bellhousing on the AU and BA motors.
BA turbo motors are still fetching a good $$$ we have sold a few for around the $7500mark.

So what would a BA taxi type lpg motor be going for?

start at $1500 depending on what you needed with it.

I have a TB42E and am putting a turbo on it soon. Using some VL commodore parts, turbo and inlet pipe. My brother is setting up the rest, and getting a exhaust manifold made. He will tune it with a "Interceptor" piggy back ECU. He has just finished one on a EL Falcon, and it works well.
