I heard  the way the boys were driving the new course was way to advanced so the Aliens 0X beemed them of Planet Earth and that is why there is no news. :D Well that is my story and I am sticking to it.

only 2 vehicles in outlaw. Mog rover and bb. we ran the original track as a shoot out. 1 lap turned around went back through. I did 7 min?? secs and bb done 17mins?? secs. but otherwise a really good weekend. remote control aeroplane was a pearler. flying around with skiddy's video camera and smacked into tree and hit the ground. 16 competitors all up. only 2 in modified aswell.

cheers Mick

whew, what a big weekend ...
after two days of hard driving over six tracks there were two modifieds, two outlaws and five super mods who made it to the finals. [we were in 4th place]
We then started from 0 points again and they joined all the tracks together and we had one go at the super long track ... really killed the navies.

outlaw:
mick in the mogrover
bb in the lux.

super mod:
dan in the GQ ute
mick in the GQ ute
jeff in the GQ soon to be ute.
big red in the GU ute
sheety in the 40 series.

modified:
greg in the dual cab hilux
mick in the troopy

our carnage:
Left CV.
ripped out inner guards.
guards bent behind wheels ... i think this was from the tyres in the tyre pit getting caught up between tyres and gaurds.
drivers door.
steering rod.
tie rod.
sills [as usual]
bent side steps [as usual]
lots of small dents and paint missing etc ...
woohoo it was fun

jeff did a rear locker and axle so Mark Hughes offered his complete rear end and they did a swap over on sunday night .

i didn't get a very good shot of fester as i was too late but here he is coming down after hitting the tree 2 metres up

Gotta hand it to Wearnie. The only thing that flew higher than the R/C plane was the arse end of the troopie when he hit the log

Sounds awesome, I was not impressed that we had to miss it as we were out of the country. Hopefully they'll change the date next year to July as originally planned as I think the long weekend took too many competitors and spectators away due to the queens birthday being the last long weekend for the year. Glad to hear you all had fun.

[quote="big red"]whew, what a big weekend ...
