Another reason for running blocks made of metal is:
1. The high tensile bolts have to be loaded for max strength and holding power, will frett the hole also if loose.
2. Majority of mounts are made to be under compression thru the bolt and centre tube. Float is at rubber junction on chassis outrigger.
