What is the colour of Std Rear coils on a 110 and 130??

My 110 has red/green in the rear 8 turns non progressive
But i have a set of 130 brown/purple rear coils progressive 9 turns.

Are these STD or have i got something different.

Aim is to have it raised to 2" more to get 34's to fit.

Steve, red/green are what are in my 130, and appear to be the stock Oz 110/130 (non ride leveler) pre '00 rears, at least all the ones I've looked under.

One of the best lists of spring info is here, although I cant see that particular colour combination.

What are the dimensions of the brown/purple ones ?

The Purple / brown are 19mm Coils or there abouts.
9 turns or 10 depending on how you read it.
Progressive and 16.5" Free Length.

Inner ones to match were green

These came out of a 2002 model 130

Are all 130 custom made?? This one is a UK built wear some were South African. the Fire guys in our area have SA built ones and are not happy.

This 130 was a 110 with the chassis cut and lenghened to 130. i thought the 130 was a off the shelf??
It was built as a 130 in the UK and shipped as a Cab chassis.
The fella told me all about it.

So there is a new one to add to the list.

So it being 1" taller could mean i might get that 2" lift i want?

What is the ratio of coil hight to car height?
Years ago i had a volvo 240 and if you cut 1/8" of the coil it lowered it 1". i think......

I cant change them over to test it yet but i'm getting some coils for it that will raise it 70mm over STD. i hope so...

AFAIA, all 130's are cut and lengthened 110 chassis, and the UK built ones are made by Land Rover Special Vehicles. I've heard the same complaints about SA built vehicles as well.

You could try those 130 springs, but I'd be betting ride height it will be the same height, or maybe a touch less than the red/greens.
Can you get a vernier on the wire, and an accurate number of total turns, including the closed and ground ends, and the number of turns to the transition where they are close together, please ?
Email it to John at the page I linked to above, and post it back here as well. We'll see if we can work out the rate.
