This time i will research it properly first and make sure i have all the bits i need.... you and i both know what will happen eh!

thats why i am waiting until i re-register it to start it all

did some checking and measuring...... with standard height GQ springs, i will get 7" of lift

The GQ diffs are about 5 1/2" wider than mine, and the chassis (at the front anyhow) is exactly the same width. i forgot to measure the rear, but i can only assume it's the same. All the spring mounts and linkage mounts will/should weld easily to my chassis. I was going to go for 3" lifted light duty springs.... but i would need to run 38's to make it look half decent..... I have got the whol;e chassis off a GQ from Dave at Hardcore4x4 so i can sort what i need to cut off it when i get it home and compare them both (no i'm not going to dump the Rodeo cab on the chassis

) Dave is also going to supply me with a set of 4.8:1 after market gears for the diffs.... that should help runing 35's also got a RTC thrown in

all i need now is for somebody to donate some wheels

This thing will probably be the end of my marriage

the wife thought all it was going to cost was the purchase price of the diffs.... she didn't take into account the wheels, the engineer, the shocks, the slabs of beer to get mates here to help, the body mods to cover the 4" of extra width each side...... hehe gotta love it!!!

Don't M&M Engineering have a solid axle front Rodeo. maybe worth going over and checking it out.
