keep it zook Cam, I'd rather stay entirely zook than add heavier Lux diffs.

It all comes down to personal preference and what you are going to do with it.
I've put lux diffs under my zook, mainly cause i keeped on breaking diffs and cv's, BUT HEY THAT COULD BE MY DRIVING STYLE IF OTHER PEOPLE CAN DRIVE ON THE SAME GEAR AND NOT BREAK ANYTHING.
AND I WANT DRIVE HARD IN THE COMPS.
As i said it's personal preference.
anyway looks good so far cam.

i'd rather be overbuilt and be able to give it some rather than worrying about breakage and having to nurse it through
pft hilux diffs are weak

A vitara centre is smaller than a Hilux and I'm sure the DANA 44 axles and knuckles are stronger than standard hilux .

With my setup of 34s with low gearing , 6:1 transfer case and 4.1 diff gears, a rear locker and seriously offset wheels i have only managed to stuff a wheel bearing. I don't need the added size and perceived strength of the hilux stuff plus i have most of the zuk stuff I'll need
so a zook axle is actually as strong as a hilux diff.
Zook diffs just had some bad press?? A good marketing team should be able fix that
Not saying a suzuki axle is stronger but hilux stuff isn't the be all and end all of diffs either. Aren't they also prone to breaking birfields and cv etc when you run bigger tyres. And to run a hilux diff and have the same diff clearance I do with a 34 i will need to run at least a 37 which means longfields and stronger cvs etc which are bigger money than replacing a standard suzuki part. As i said in Vic conditions that I drive I don't need the hilux diffs and the hassles of having to narrow them and use custom axles to keep to appearing somewhat legal. My car is driven on the road.
