Giving this a bump for those that havent voted. And also the reason this poll was started.
There seamed to be a lot of people here having problems with their airlockers. And there are a lot of people that like to bag them out because of all their problems. Looking at this poll the main reason ARBs have so many problems is because there are so many out there. Not because they have problems that need fixing.

ARB's front & rear
I like them, give you the most versatility of the major brands. The only problem ive ever had with them was once oil came back up the line and it would not ingage,Took the line off at the diff end and turned that locker switch on and blow it out. All good again.
Ive run a lock right in the rear and it kept braking the cross pin and smashing the pinion
Ive run a weld rear and was great asfar as never failing but really sucked on road.

I didn't elaborate because that didn't seem to be what the thread was asking for... but I guess I should...
Problems I had with ARB's were mainly in the 'air' side of things... compressor failure, solenoid failure, fuses blowing, airlines leaking, etc.
Struggled up a few sketchy trails only to realize when I got to the top (or partway up) that I had no lockers... at least I know that the detroits are always there and working.
I reckon running them off a power tank with all the lines well protected would be the way to go... some of my mates in the USA are running them like that now with much fewer dramas.
Never had a problem with the locker itself... only the actuation.

ARB rear & Nissan LSD front
Never had a problem with either of the ARB's I've owned other than hose ripping off once to to the silly nong who left it exposed (myself). I've also run them at lower air pressure only 90psi to try avoid the seal blowout problem. I also don't engage/disengage them mid burnout
Had a front lockright in a manual steer Landog 2A, never again.
