It appears the R&p has broken though I have not pulled the centre out yet. I pulled the axles out in the bush and they look almost new. I have to wait two weeks for a replacement 4.11, or I may just put 3.54's back in as i have the pair in my shed.

Hi Jason

Laurie here, mate would you mind letting me know where you are getting your 4.1's from, I am curious because Gary had to also wait a couple of weeks for my new set.
Did you enjoy the Ateco.

Laurie.

Yes, Steph and I did enjoy the Ateco.... we were disappointed not to compete on Sunday.

I was told yesterday that Rovacraft (?) would have a delivery of KAM 4.11's by next week. Hopefully this will eventuate as they have been promising delivery since April 05.

Hi..

Is there other info around that talks about this car?
A thread on the build up somewhere else or anything?

I looked around after seeing the car at Ateco but didn't find anything..

No nothing at all.

Glenns not really into computers. It has been a continuous build over about 10 years. It just keeps getting changed  :)

Was it just me, or did anyone else notice how many Rangie Comp cars for sale there were after Ateco....

For many years rangies have dominated the scene, but it seems that scene is becoming more and more a GQ scene...

If everyone just *issed off rover centres they would do much better.
Most of the other components seem to fairly well.
At the end of the day preperation counts - but thing still will go wrong.

There are a lot of good drivers out there too, tough competition with big $$$ budgets.

I don't know how many are for sale except mine. Smithi still did well in his Rangie, Matt was just having a bad day on Saturday and decided to pull out with minimal damage after his steering box r pump developed a leak.

Most of the competitive GQ's have a build up cost of over $40k, I don't have enough money trees to do the same. For less than $10k I could put Nissan diffs and Box, and get some serious HP increase from my Holden, but the financial controller is starting to ask 'Why".

In the OBC this year a lot of vehicles had engines worth more than my complete car….
