The small restrictive pipe could cause a that much power loss, you would have thought AXT should have suggested a new zorst when they fiited the turbo after all it would have made there product perform betterDR Frankenstine wrote:Works like this
Turbo putting out 10lb boost with 3" exhaust straight through no back preasure you get 10lb boost.
Turbo puts out 10lb Boost, skinny exhaust causes 4lb of back preasure, you only get 6lb of effective boost!!
OPEN UP YOUR EXHAUST or you may as well take off your turbo.
I had a fella buy a sd33t of me to replace an old clagged out sd33t (or so he thought). After he fitted it he rang me with abuse saying this motor was no better than the one he took out. I asked him what exhaust he was running and he said the original exhaust from earlier when it had a std sd33. I told him to put a minimum 2.5" straight through on it. A week later I get a phone call asking did I know anyone who wanted a turbo diesel. He couldnt beleive the difference.bj42turbo wrote:The small restrictive pipe could cause a that much power loss, you would have thought AXT should have suggested a new zorst when they fiited the turbo after all it would have made there product perform betterDR Frankenstine wrote:Works like this
