They sure look like american numberplates... california perhaps

Yes one of the plates does look a little like a Cali plate but i doubt it as they both have the panhard rod and steering links running to the RH/side of the car so they are more than likely not US trucks.

There not really hardcore. well the second one isn't (the first though nice puddle - I can understand why it took a while to get out). Just dirty, you really should wash it.

Man, what an opportunity to lean out the window and get a really good measurement of how much droop your suspension has all around!

that photo was the one that was easiet to get out, just a snatch from behind with the hilux. the other was the hard one casue the whole undercarriage was stuck and the other car had trouble pulling me out from the rear so we decided to try the front and it worked better.

i did wash it on sunday after noon after work.

$12 at car wash to get thick mud off.
Home with the high pressure again.
then wash with sponge.
change tires and put cheeze cutters back on
wash JTs and put them away
clean snatch
and its all good.

if the second pic isnt hardcore, what about dirtpigs pic of him doing nothing either. sorry it had to be said.

This is the Patrol i talk of in another topic, it has a Whipple-supercharged 502, TH400 tranny and other mods, and the original A/C and accesories work perfectly.

About 355 kw's, but it has about 750 lb/ft of torque at 2800 rpm, don't know how much NM's are.

I was speaking to Cheezy yesterday, he had the Mav on the Dyno and with jets that were too small it still pulled over 800Nm of torque  and I think it was around 385kW at the rear wheels. Can't imgaine how much that would be at the flywheel cos that figure is after the frictional losses of a TH400, twin transfer cases and the H260 diff. So there is a fair bit of drag there.
