Yes, Gab does know who G&J are.
And read what I wrote... "like G&J".. not "are G&J". Australia isn't the only country in the world that makes aftermarket parts.

I strongly suspect they are made by a man with a waxed handlebar moustache and brill creamed hair. "mam mia, I have made another geara seta"
Nah, seriously, I don't know.??
I can't even think of a way to try and find out.. Italian yellow pages?

The Italian gears are good. I have run a set of the aftermarket ones from there on an earlier vehicle. They also do the 6:1 gears for the cruisers.

My G&J supplied 4.88's would have more than 20000 on them now, no problems as yet. The front ring gear is touching the housing nowadays though, so he may have some issues in there..

Maybe it is G&J's design and they just sub-contract the manafacture of them. If so, you would understand them protecting their investment.
I'll ask the local diff dude here, I think he buys a lot of his ricer gearsets direct from europe somewhere..

Jeesus there's some crap on here...
Their are two main non genuine supliers of nissan gears.
They are in Italy and Spain.
Even when people think they are buying from the US/ iceland/ wherever they're actually getting the Italian gears in different boxes.
They will not supply small orders to the public / small outfits.
Nobody 'owns' these designs. Australia is a TINY market for these gears. They have been made for Bennys as low as 5.11 and 5.38 the 5.38 are the only 'owned' design- quite different to the 5.11 and down. Bennys don't sell these outside of their own vehicles. The Italians won't make these unless a minimum order is filled (think around 40K)
As far as I know no one cuts gears like this in Aus.

Maybe I am missing something, but you have started a post with "jesus there is some crap on here" and then the remainder of your post just agrees with and clarifies what the last dozen posts have said anyways???
I must be missing something...

We can supply aftermarket diff gears and they are not through G&J. They originate from Italy, same as G&J.
PM me if interested

Hi guys,
Sorry for the delay, but I just came home from holliday...2013 km in the mountains, about 700 of them off-road (in 14 days...isn't something??!;-))
Well, just for the records: Nissan has a factory in Europe, located in Spain. They made there the GQ (european specs), the MQ and a lot of special veficles (army, firefighters cars, ambulances, etc...). The 5.1 has been made for this kind of vehicles and are mounted on the "Top-Line" Patrol, 6 cilinders WITHOUT turbo (RD28 engine).
And ...yes, I have some idea about the aftermarket products from Aussy....and in my opinion you have acces to the best aftermarket companies that are making Nissan parts...really!!!
Regards, Gabriel

Bennys is a multi franchise car retailer in Iceland, they do a lot in 4wd parts and have previously done a lot more.
These are the guys that offered Nissans with 35's, Chev V8's and and a factory warrantee. ( and new troopies with 38's and a warrantee!)
I think they are somehow involved with Artic trucks who do expedition preparation for the glassier trucks.
