yea know what you mean, yrs back some euro countries had 1 rego per license. EG you had a plate MANDY, you could bolt it onto any car you owned.

That would be the best thing any state DoT could do.
Considering in the last year i've driven the zook twice (paid 6 months rego for each time, (1 for a day trip to ormeau,1 for Yandina Gymkhana)
