Ok, heres a couple of poor quality ones i managed to get yesterday while at the show... The damn thing was too shiny

Oh, and it did have a bodylift... Looked awsome, and was creating plenty of interest at the show, best 4by at the show too IMO...

Thanks vanzbrown and MUD000 for the pics! Was it a HJ or FJ? Was it running stock 2F, 3F or 2H>?

ITs a 2H, but pretty much totally rebuilt, and with a custom safair turbo.

The ARB guy at the show was saying that it has already done a trip to the simpson, and drove very nicely.

Heaps of other stuff... Pretty much anything they could get new they have, including nuts and bolts...

Man, now I want a body lift and 35's.

Sorry guy's haven't had a chance to get back on the computer. Yeah work at ARB. Usually don't like to let people know but what the hell!!!

it has the early 60 series headlights(fenders etc) but the late model dash.

The original chook mobile (the one with air on previous page) now resides at GT Suspension in Melbourne. Has been stolen and recovered as well as through a couple of owners since leaving ARB. It was one of my fellow workers company car twice. Once at ARB and at GT.

did anyone snap a pic of the board in front of the 60 that had all the specs and the like, Also just herd on 4wd tv from an arb guy that if they get enough interest they will build the front bar.

Of the 24 odd pics I was sent, you can see the board in two. None enough to read the bad boy but.

As everyone has seen the car, I'll let you know what kind of things that have been done that you can't see.
It has front and rear lockers and the ratio's have been changed to cope with the 35. The motor, gearbox and transfer case has been rebuilt and a brand new turbo has been put on the motor. The whole car was stripped and repainted as well as the chassis and diff housing's. everything has been rebuilt. The interior is customer with embriodery on the doors. The seats are ARB Paratus Seats in leather with the Dakar Emblem.
The Bar is a prototype as well as the side steps and the rear bar. We need to know how much interest there is on those before we make the decision to produce them. It has a 2" body lift and all the bar work has been lifted to suit. the only part of the car that has not been replaced is the rubber boots around the gear sticks.

Ha, i said to my brother about the the gear stick boots and im like, man, they could have replaced those

they just had this thing on 4wdtv briefly and the ARB dude said the same thing GQTRBO said, if there is enough interest in the new 60 series bar they will go into production.

so if you want one contact your ARB rep!

It would cost around a grand. Wouldn't it? Would anyone pay a grand for a bullbar? It is pretty sexy tho...

The latest Just 4X4's has lots of pictures of the build and the specs.

Hi all, ARB are in fact going ahead with the new 60 SERIES winch bar as seen on the Dakar Project 60.

This bar features a number of innovations including the capability to fit at two different heights to allow for vehicles with body lifts, HiLift jacking points and Heavy duty towing eyes etc.

Actual availability is not yet known as it needs to go through the jig building and tooling stages at our plant yet, but it will be early next year.

Part number will be 3410100

We are now accepting back orders for this product.
