The conclusion from the group was that installing as set of Fat Boy globes alone would be an option other than buying a set of spotlights. They would be great for people that own vehicle’s that didn’t have a way of mounting spotlights.
So in the end we ended up with a low beam increase of 68%, high beam increase of 77% and a 260% increase in total light with high beams and spots on.
goodonya. now they dont need to read the mag.bogged wrote:this bit will doAJ wrote:its the whole pagebogged wrote:line #?AJ wrote:34bogged wrote: what page?

I think the real point got missed there. The beauty of the Fatboys is the improved low beam when you have to dip your lights. Thats what makes them worthwhile.bogged wrote:The conclusion from the group was that installing as set of Fat Boy globes alone would be an option other than buying a set of spotlights. Also going from a 55w bulb to a 100w bulb does not mean 2 times the light.
i used to Rally many years back and i and others worked out 55w bulbs on a rally car was as good as 100w and 1/2 the power consumption.
Just make sure you have perfect earth and 12v feed. No voltage drop.
