back to the original question..........in SA its 6 forward facing white lights.
that means that 62 & 80 series croozers can only have 2 spotties.

yet another reason to GO NISSAN

The conclusion from the group was that installing as set of Fat Boy globes alone would be an option other than buying a set of spotlights. They would be great for people that own vehicle’s that didn’t have a way of mounting spotlights.

So in the end we ended up with a low beam increase of 68%, high beam increase of 77% and a 260% increase in total light with high beams and spots on.

I think the real point got missed there. The beauty of the Fatboys is the improved low beam when you have to dip your lights. Thats what makes them worthwhile.

Need to upgrade your loom for higher wattage bulbs, at least thats my experience on a GQ (I kept losing one side high-beam because the high-beam switch was burning)

have a read of the article, actually they did, but said dont need to.. again, go sus it out..

Also going from a 55w bulb to a 100w bulb does not mean 2 times the light.

i used to Rally many years back and i and others worked out 55w bulbs on a rally car was as good as 100w and 1/2 the power consumption.
Just make sure you have perfect earth and 12v feed. No voltage drop.
