apparently Xterrains have shit lateral grip, like on an offcamber hill etc, you slide down.

I've heard similar but every tyre is a compromise on one thing or another. I saw some in action at Ateco camp ground on the weekend on a GU towing a car trailer full of tyres up a very slimy grade and turning on a reasonably off camber hill and they looked like they were handling it pretty well. They certainly impressed me with their grip and self cleaning abilities.

yea Id like to try them just for a day to see how good they re.. They look excelent its that side grip that I hate to be lacking.


Shame not in Qld dont they hire tires out up there??

Mitcham Tyres were talking about hiring tyres a while ago but I don't know whether they went through with it or not.

Pity Pro Comp US doesn't give me the same deal, buy 3 Containers get 1 free. :lol:

Have got rid of the Mudzilla and Kreepy Krawler. Unless a realistic importer comes along that will be it for them.

Oh and I have run Xterrains since they first landed in the country and I can't see what people are on about, lack of side control 'RUBBISH'.
