You won't get a "wide-track" set of hilux diffs, so to speak. There was a wider rear housing introduced to match the independant front end, but all the solid pairs are the same width.

You could get an IFS hilux rear and get a solid front with an IFS hub swap kit from Chaos 4x4.
Then you will be WIDE!
IFS diff is about 3 inch wider!

that's pretty wide for a zook

even standard "narrow" diffs are pretty wide already

Track width can be an issue with regards to road worthiness. I got a defect notice last weekend that also requires a rwc. One of the many things that need fixing is my track width as it is more than 25mm wider in the front and 50mm in the rear than factory spec.

wasn't a canary just a defect notice. Although I have no idea what the difference is, as I still need to get a rwc. The bummer was i got pulled over because my number plates need replacing and i had no mud flaps. I also need to replace the window winder (hence the new doors i got from you), fix the hole in my floor (so I put the rubber drain plug in), a few tail light things, fix my torn flares, fix headlight alignment, fix my grill floppiness (1 more screw), new seatbelt, tighten a couple of ubolts, fix my brakes, new windscreen. So nothing major just lots of fiddly stuff
