no as far as i know the rules arnt changed.. the harness rule has.. as of 2007 (next year) it'll be compulsory for 5 point harnesses.andrew e wrote:truth or bs?Mad Cruiser wrote:I think WE ROCK is changing their rules about plastic seats ? Maybe Tony can help you out there
My buggy had a plastic seat for most of 2005/2006 and every time i took a roll i ended up upside down and didnt really feel the impact of the seat when 'landing' as it didnt happen as the harness always caught me (3 point and now upgradin to 5 point)
Wes (teamzook) took my buggy down the last comp.. and he flipped it totally.. and he told me that it friggin hurt.
Sam (strangerover) also told me that Jamie Way pulled a face when he flipped backwards and landed back on his wheels after bouncing off a rock climbing upwards, as if it really hurt when he landed at werock colo round.
Just my 2c... its your choice totally - and it comes down to what you want to do.
custom bar work, 4x4 parts, trailers, anything out of steel/alloy :D
