it is not a blow off valve u want to fit although most people call it that it is a bypass valve and the only way to fit leagley is to plum it back into the inlet manifold :lol:

wots the difference betwwen a Blow Off Valve and an OverBoost Valve??
sounds the same to me. i thought BOV were bolted to your intake manifold? to release the pressure when you back off the throttle, so when the car is boosting the Overboost valve is always leaking a regulated pressure??? hows it work?

overboost valve is simply a valvethat opens at a set pressure, ie wastegate sticks shuts and boost goes high. the valve is there to save the motor from damage.

BOV and bypass valve is the same thing. bypass is loose term for a BOV which is plumped back into the preturbo intake as opossed to the noisy ones which are not.

A BOV is not bolted to the intake manifold..... :roll: It has to sit between the throttlebody and the turbo.

Compressor surge or reversion? Two different things.
