I think i am past half way been taking my sweet arse time (about 1 hour a week) STILL HAVNT GOT DISTRUCTIONS FOR IT YET EITHER, so i prolly done it all wrong :D

I also have no body lift so afew modifications were needed to be done on the rear upper shock mounts

 you would have had instuctions if the shocks had arrived on time.... LRA is using my rig todo the fitout on and at the same time take pics for self installers

PM me if you get stuck i have kinda had the kit explained to me in detail from andrew

BTW i don't think the kit would work all that well if you don't have a body lift

what the F%$K does the body lift have to do with it I am only goin for the 3" of extra drop? the shocks are on atm the rears are about 1.2" higer and the front almost 2" higher than standard (you see i dont want to much more up travel cause I dont want tyres scrubbing to the shit house.

Good thing they taking pictures cause they gonna send me the instructions as soon as they make them up, then I can see what i did wrong adn fix all me mistakes :D

The original front brake line extensions with the kit were F5&ked (leaked like a grandma with diarea) Sent me up a redesigned set, havnt tested them out yet. ALSO due to cutting the rear upper shock mounts with the oxy the two upper bolts no longer line up correctly :bad-words:
I get my uncle put afew tack welds on top and to the sides.

You might wanna ask Andrew when he is fitting yours to edit the Aframe spacer alittle bit, I think that not only should it lower the mount by 2" but it should also take it back 1/2" cause it will minimise any vibration (if your unlucky enough to get them with a 3" spring lift).

O well, thats my dodgy .02c worth :D

i had to shave off half an inch off the top rear shock mounting bracket thingamy bobs that go around the chassis to clear my under body.

I am not sure how good the final design of the upper rear shock mounts are, at the moment i am not to happy with the way the actaul shock mount and kicker are bolted to the new mount, but hopefully use and time will increase my happy thoughts :D

what aren't you happy with Anthony.... The way they sit on the chassis, the material, the position the shocks mount.....

you say "I am not sure how good the final design of the upper rear shock mounts are"...

please explain, I have seen all the pieces of the kit loose, never asembled and the I thought the mounts looked good.... but as I said never on a vehicle..... what is wrong with them :?:

Well there isnt anything wrong with the kit (maybe a bit overpriced when i think about it) just how they use those little bolts to mount you original upper shock mount and kicker to the new mounts that rap around your chassis, the mounts bolt on reall strong (even stronger if the upper four hole lined up, but the shift when I oxied the peices) and then there is about 2cm in total of thread that hold the original shock mount and kicker to that :? I am abit woried that the lower bolt (and maybe the uppers) will eventually fail BUT i could be completely wrong :)

The original brakeline extensions (front) were completely wrong (but i guess thats what you get when your a test dummy) Andrew has sent me a replacment set (havnt put em on to test yet).

Another slight bit of concern is the large square upper front adjustable shock mount, you see it seems to stick out a fair bit (on a full crossed up situation it may rub on a fat tyre) but thats only by looking with my own eyes once again it is just a thought that came into my head when observing afew things so I could be totally paranoid about nuthing.

But to top it all off I still look at it all in a whole and think COOL my RR might be abit more adveturous now, so in the end its all good.

Ok seems you have gone to alot of trouble where you could have run his springs & the same Bilsteins iam running and got pretty much the same result???

We have just done a rangie with 3 inch spring(same as andrews that Mike & chippa run) and using Bilstien L/cruiser shocks, rear go on upside down :)

and travell is great, rear spring could travel alittle further but more than enough :)

What tyres are you running??
