Haven't done many k's on it (8000 maybe?) but i'm still very happy with it. Others who have driven the car have also been impressed.
if yer interested in my feedback i'm happy with the exedy hd clutch to date. no issues, slips, noises or anything.. done about 6000kms on it. have swapped it over to a new donk and its holding up.. and its hot pink!bogged wrote:HOw is it now??? You mean thrust bearing, And that fitment is dodgy!naif wrote:let me guess you pressed the new spigot bearing completely onto the the mounting bracket?
thats what i did, the old race i removed had a 5mm gap between the race and the flat on the bracket.
well the clutch i removed was an exedy.Ruffy wrote:You mean thrust bearing, And that fitment is dodgy!naif wrote:let me guess you pressed the new spigot bearing completely onto the the mounting bracket?

Friend had the same problem as you LOCKEE, he just put up with it and the clutch only lasted him a little while (<12 months), when it was pulled out there was a big wear mark on the fingers and they had started to bend. Mind you, it probably has more to do with his driving/maintenance style rather than the actual product, but something to think about for anyone else experiencing the problem when fitting HD clutches to GQ's.LOCKEE wrote:Advice so far has been -
remove box shim bearing or change bearing
change to GU Master
lengthen pushrod in slave
will trial the pushrod first.
