I hope drum brakes didn't scare you off. I had drums on my mav. 350 for the replacement diff disc to disc and 100 for a different brake master cylinder. I returned my diff centre after the job as that is the only thing in it worth any money. Thats ALL that is involved in converting them over. Job completed in a couple of hours. Mine is 89 base model but you get the vinyl floor, big bonus. One of my mates shorty diesel Nissan has drum rear also so don't know what the go is with which models got them.

He didnt end up buying it in the end bigmav because he took it to the mechanic and he found that the door hinges were cracking. He said that this would cost a lot to fix. Other than that i think he did not find much else, but he seemed to think that he could get a better deal for the money.

fair enuf. door hinges are a common fault too, but there are always more trucks out there.

I would have bought it if I had $9500 sitting around. For a diesel shorty I reckon thats pretty good - looked for ages for a diesel before I bought my petrol.

Under 10 grand for one of the most capable fourbies you can get, name a new one thats better....

Oh the hamanity!
