A mate had a LWB in Brisbane, that he put a Gemini gearbox in, he also put a Gemini diesel motor in it and later added a turbo too. He sold it about 3 years ago, last seen in Northgate mechanics yard.

When connecting the 2 gear-boxes , be aware that your second gear-box had a bearing on the end of the shaft into the engine (pilot bearing i think) and that bearing allines the sincro's in your second box, if its out (my engineer told me) you may find your second box exploding of welding the gears together from missalinement a few km's down the road,
the volvo box sliped into the back of the 4 speed suzi box, do you think that is enough support on the shaft to replicate the pilot bearing ?

How do you plan on joining the 2 box's together ? ;)

Also you get a lot of low gears in two wheel drive. that's a SPIGOT BUSH i think

(Cut input shaft ,weld on slip yok off of tailshaft to stub of input shaft, Unijoint or flexjoint at the rear. solid mounted to rear of zuk box and rubber mounted rear of volvo box)___________________________________________________________

Can get low 2wd with twin transfers too. Not as many gears, but then prob not as many hassles.

twin tranny's alot more $$$$$$$$$$$. I might go and find out what they are puting in front of these isuzu gearboxes besides isuzu engines.
