lookin on ebay at these 5w handheld jobbys, and none of them seem to cover 477Hz. Like this one - 400-470Hz http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Pair-QUANSHENG-5 ... dZViewItem

Soo, if you have one that does 400-470 for eg, does that mean you wont be able to access the usuall 40 channels of UHF? And only be able to talk betweem the 2 you have?

yeah thats right..thats y i told u guys about the tk338 it covers 400-480mhz which in that is the 477 range utilizing the uhf citerzen band 1-40
