Thanks for all the enquiries here and on the www.autobalance.com.au web page and I hope we've done a good job at answering all the questions. Next saturday we have booked a trade site at the Solid Rock's Spring Fest in Mt Martha where we will have on display The Magnum product as well as all our other tyre related products including bolt in chrome strait & 90degree valves, chrome o-ring sealed valve caps, valve tools, wheel spacers as well as the puncture repair products. Feel free to come along and have a chat while you are there.
For more info on the spring fest check out the 4WD Monthly calander in the mag.

HI I have 35' X Terrain (my second set they are the BEST) and I thought I would give this auto balance stuff a try and 6,000 K'S later (in a month) I have found it great. I had trouble keeping wheel weights on the tyres and had vibrations constantly (especially cold low pressures) but no troubles now as the FISh said earlier give it a minute or two and all good.

I have had a faulty rim however and had to get a new one (2 hours after getting them fitted  ) and the tyre service had no trouble changing the beads over as they fitted up the new rim.

All Good from me.

Thanks Jason & Adam for supplying and installing the tyre balancing compound for me a few nights ago. The trip home from Frankston to Baulko was a treat - none of the shakes which we had suffered on the way from Sudney to Melbourne, after we threw a wheel weight just south of Yass.

I'm impressed. So far so good.

I am now looking forward to saving the $50 which Hemmi spent after every major 4wd trip getting the wheels balanced, and hopefully the new 265 75x16 Goodyear MTRs will last a bit longer. The previous ones wore irratically due to wheel wobble and I had to replace them whilst they still had 20% tread.

If I still had the OKZ00K I'd be dosing up the 32x9.5 Centepedes with the Magnum as well. I will pass your brochure on the Jeremy, OKZ00K's new owner.

Regards Det

Firstly thanks Det for good report and we are glad you had a wobble free trip back to NSW.
And udm you don't need lead weights when using MAGNUM as it ballances the tyres as you drive, adjusting with changing conditions in terrain, tyre pressure and even built up mud after a day 4Wheeling. All the info about MAGNUM can be found at www.autobalance.com.au and I am happy to answer questions here.

G'day all I've got a few questions:
1: What happens if water/condensation such as from the compressor gets in the tyre, will it affect the beads?
2: When airing down with a currie deflator (take valve stem out) Will this lose the beads or clog the deflator? (guessing just dont have valve at the bottom of tyre it should be ok)
3:For 36x12.5x15 TSL Swampers how many bags would be best?
Cheers Mick

The minimal amount of water that gets in when airing will up not effect the balancing compound, using a currie deflator is no drama, and you'd need 1 bag per tyre for a 36 X 12.5 Swamper. They product has changed for the better with the use of bigger beads meaning any minor issue that possibly occured with the old compound with sticky valves has been illiminated.
