Sounds like you have lots of plans... Interested to see how it works out.

Since you have done a lot of turbo calcs - what do you think about T25 vs T/GT28 of some description???

For our engines the T25 with 0.48 A/R exhaust works very well. I monitored exhaust backpressure and it didn't bottleneck at all when pumping 15psi at full throttle and full revs.
I rebuilt my engine about 18 months ago and the T25 recently so I'll let you know how they match when they're both in good condition.

The intercooler may increase the air consumption enough to push it over the edge, I'll let you know.

IMO the T28 is bigger than it needs to be for our engines. I think the best turbo for a diesel is the smallest one that won't strangle the engine at max flow.
