this maybe a stupid question but once you extend the steering colum, should you put salastic or something back in the 2 holes drilled out??

No need, though it might stop a little bit of crap getting in but I won't worry about it if you choose this method. Some kits
come with a double thickness rag joint anyways so you don't need to do this mod.

This was great when i did the body lift in mine. wouldnt have attempted it if i hadnt have had this to look at.

what is the smallest body lift you can do ... I really only need about 15mm more clearance ..

It can be 1mm if you want. just have to find the female screws and cut them and the spacer blocks down to what ever length you want.
I have cut a 2" lift kit in half and worked a treat.

Great write up. The utes are the same you just don't have the 2 at the rear, you will have 4 for the tray.
