I had a 18r in my 77' celica. I had a mate with a early hilux, dont remember what year and he had the same engine.

I ran a 18rg with twin carbies for a while. He bought it off me and put efi on it before dropping it into his hilux. Bloody thing moved.

I ended up with a 3TGTEU in my celica. A 1.8 lt, twin cam twin ignition feul injected turbo.

Now that engine flew.
My Cruiser is Environmentally Friendly.

It runs on recycled Dinosaurs.

a mate of mine just finished putting a 3tg in his ta22 celica, and your right they bloody move.

spewing, he sold a different lica bout a month ago with an 18rg with twin sidieys for next to nothing as the body was farked. :x

if only i knew i was getting a lux.
3.0 nj 5 speed, 2+2 lift, 9500 lb winch, rancho 9000's, supercheap spotties, big stez wif woofas, etc etc

87 d/cab lux with on gas with d/batts, long range tank,new canopy with basket etc etc etc
