Considering how much time you are spending on the web when you could be working on your car, it's pretty clear that January the 24th is a far too relaxed deadline... It clearly should be something before christmas

What's all this? "Finishes"? ... Isn't that too strong a word? I thought a project like this becomes an on-going thing (until you decide to sell it or give it to your kids) therefore never officially being finished...

Todays update:
Body is now prepped and primed for painting.
A fellow club member will be popping over one night next week to do the chop after I get it all measured.

Pretty much need to pick up springs & shocks To get it moving again.
After that its pretty much man hours plus I also need:
Draglink
C channel for shackles
Front drive shaft for the rear (Possibly)
Some sheet metal for closing in the cabin
Seats
Tube

Sounds like you'd better put on a bbq one day and get the tribe over for a rapid build like we did for the body swap day
Then you'd just have the delicate / thinking jobs to finish.

Yesterdays update,
Body chopped.
ATM I am thinking of closing in the rear like the pic to follow, the B pillar will tie into the roll bar at 3 points, the 2 bars that normally runs across the Hard top rear windows will connect to the cage the plated roof section will also tie into the cage.
I'm also using both roof braces (One from each body) for extra strength.

Well, visibility won't be an issue either from the look of that! You're going to have that much "glass area"? Thought you'd be more into the tiny cell-window thing, with the sliding window

As for the roof... you going to keep it like that or going to turn it into a "targa-top"? Looking good, but doesn't it defeat the purpose of camo? Isn't camo supposed to "hide" your car rather than make it stand out?
