MARKx4, I was told that they stopped making the "doughnut" style tanks not that long ago when i was chasing up stuff for my datto.
RACV used to carry a 10kg BBQ bottle around with a hose fitting that they could fuel up straight-gas cars with when they run out. One of my mates runs the local RACV joint, and he said they were outlawed a while back due to safety reasons. He wouldn't even tell me if they still had one "floating about". However - it would be a very handy little piece of equipment.

This is incorrect. The problem is there is more demand for these tanks than they can supply. I tried to order a 60Ltr one to suit a Commodore wagon in November last year and supply date was going to be Late April this year.coxy321 wrote:MARKx4, I was told that they stopped making the "doughnut" style tanks not that long ago when i was chasing up stuff for my datto.
