Just to clarify is it pro modifies or Unlimited that you will be building for???
I gather that when you said modified that you ment Pro modified.

it would be pro-mdified for WE-Rock and modified for OZ-rock. The two seater, no portals full body job.

i got confused when people started saying they could run portals. the OZ-rock rules in front of me state NO MILITARY STYLE DROP /PORTALS for modified class.

could not access we-rock rule book so unsure what it sys about this.

For the werock rule book try the american werock site as it has all the rules to date and upcoming rules.
And in werock you can run portals

I think the OZrock rules on the website need to be updated, as far as I know OZrock is running WErock rules.

ARE we use the rules that all the sanctioning bodies use .Same as WERock,UROC and OZRock. That way people can compete at either ither and still maintain the same vehicle specs from comp to comp.lts works nicly for everyone competing.
Lockers or Knockers ,both will make for fun.

Wrong, Werock and UROC have different rules!!!!

Werock has its own set of rules.

Uroc has there own set of rules (they are different)

So which sanctioning body rules is Ozrock using?

Yes they do have their own set of rules but they parrell each other alot.
So to be exact ,yes we(OZROCK) run parallel with the werock rules except for the 3d panels . But that is only mandatory for the finals this year i spose anyway.
Lockers or Knockers ,both will make for fun.

ARRHHHH you better believe it. And thats what we will be running in our pro mod class buggy gu rear with portals and gq front with portals. now we just have to fab them to fit.
in the pro-mod on the WE ROCK site it states;
limit the use of axles to any production OEM axle
5.1.1 - military style drop in axles and portal are acceptable
5.1.2 - no manual change of axle wheelbase is allowed

so if you use portals with Gu diff centers wich axle wheelbase do you follow..

i may seem like i have no clue, but at the moment i am just trying to undertand the rules and am a little confused.

no manuel change in wheel base means that the wheel base cannot be changed on the go as in a sliding type set up to lengthn or shortn on the fly.

gotcha that makes more sense then.

i was just assuming that the seppo's referred to axle wheelbase as width. really feel like a d[ck.
was wondering why you couldn't change the axle width.

while i have every1 attention is there a efi 4cyl out there with a good auto that runs rear wheel drive. wont to run it into a zook transfer. carn't think of anything off the top of my head.

There is also the nissan SR20(turbo or non turbo), FJ20(turbo or non turbo), CA18(turbo or non turbo) just to name a few off the top of my head. Ring a jap motor import place and they will have the best options and there power specs aswell.
Its not cool, unless it's got boost :)
