oh and some dude was driving it.. anyone in brissy recognise it?
Is that the one that Ekky built for his missus?
It does look a little bit like that.
I wonder what ever happend to the Stolbergs? They used to compete at everything at LCMP and i havent heard their names mentioned in years.
Think they're around Maryborough/ Hervey Bay now.

Love the colour! Hows your crawl ratio on 37s, no gears? Only seen a couple of pics of this. What did you end up doing for a front bar? Is it regoed or just a trailer queen?

its not much of a pic but here is the new Toyota V8 and 4spd auto box fitted. used air/con, radiator, hydraulic thermo fan, ECU, air box, headers and cats all from the half cut. very nice fit.
mounted as low as possible to fit the blower

the crawl ratio is not good at all RAY185...
im in the middle of getting dual transfer cases put in to fix that problem...
it will be regoed but isnt yet... thats when the 31's go back just to pass vicroads
for the front end so far ive put in a piece of square tubing and covered it all with 6mm thick steel plate with 2 recovery points... after i get a winch ill decide what im going to do...
since that photo ive also put in 60 tilt steering colum, BOSS air comp and made up a rear bar with tow hitch...
i need to get some more pics up, this is the only other pic ive got on the comp, that the old 40 steering colum...

where does the speedo pick up its signal from
Posted: Thu Jun 10, 2010 7:23 pm
by KERMIE_308
from its original spot... back of the transfer case
you pull of the standard mechanical cord and replace it with this pulse sensor thing that screws straight on... converts revolutions into an electronic pulse
its really good because you have to calibrate it to link tyre size to distance... so everytime you change tyre size to can re-calibrate it

Gaup thats tough looking. no sliders under the sills needed in sweden?
Daz, thats the gear! man dont sell it, keep it.
very neat, where did the wide guards go?
Did it always have those yellow braces under the chassis? im guessing to stop it getting hung up on the link mounts?
