Yep that was me! Dont worry I didnt think you were rude you were unloading a tribe of kids so I wasnt offended
I really liked the look of the top as all the other lwb tops look a bit oridinary. I have a high roof one with the BIG boxy windows but I really like the look of the late model swb tops ( the ones with the diagonal through the side window) and think a lwb version like yours is the way to go.
I wasnt going to ask much about the roof I was interested in the zook as I Im trying to keep mine kinda family friendly but I took out the 3 seat bench and replaced it with split rears from a coily.

Hey maria,
just wanted to know if you did the fastback for the lwb as well? i was on your site but only saw pics of the swb. if you do,what is involved in attaching this to my zook?

(quote: Maria if you design one with removable windows like the longy in a short and long version and pattern it I think they will sell well as most who see it want one, rather than a bikini top and a soft top this top is both in one. The side zips are Vitara rear window zips and the rear is a genuine Wrangler rear zip with two slides. )

Thanks for that Hyzook!

I haven't had a chance to design more LWB soft tops as I do not have a car. I have been able to work with SWB as I have a body here, then is easy to work.

I will try to do some work on the LWB in the next month but I have to travel 40km to the car.... plus that the tab is full of stuff.... not easy to work around!! see if I can do something about it.....

Is anyone close by that I could borow the car in exchange of soft top? QLD, Tamborine Mt.

mrmagoo, I haven't done the fast back for LWB yet... sorry

Maria,
Thought I'd make my first post worthwhile and coincide it with an order for a full soft top (emailed to sales)
I do have one minor query however. Do you also put in the strap and buckles for the tension straps at the back?

Looking forward to a new lid as the one I currently have on leaks at the smell of rain  but only on the passenger seat

Cheers

Chris

The full size soft top comes with those straps to hold the bow at the rear.

Update on the full size soft top (safari style) with removel windows: I'm still working on it but I've been busy with other stuff.

Does anyone have a pic of a lwb soft top set up they can post so Maria can see how the support bows look. Mine came with a hard top so Im not sure.
Maria a suggestion for the safari style top what about roll windows instead of zip off. For me I would prefer roll up as Id have no where to store the windows while Im on the trail but would like to have them to keep the kids in the back warm on the drive there and back. Just an idea.

Yes, Nik not worries. I think I will design a normal soft top for LWB first and then get the other options.
I will be contacting a friend today that has a LWB and will work things up. Thanks for your help anyway.
If this zook do not come with standard soft top then I can go as I think will work better!

Mitch if the bikini top has the straps to tight the top all the way to the rear gate then the windjammer will not interfered at all with the bikini.
If the bikini is strapless and tights around the middle pillar then I just need to make slot to be able to thread through the straps. I will just need a couple of measures to be able to much your bikini with the windjammer.

Thanks Jaffa for posting some photos! I can not up load pictures in this web site but I can always send photos when require.

Prices, some pics and more information can be get from the web site www.mucanvasproducts.com

Is best to contact me at sales@mucanvasproducts.com

Hey jaffa,

What top have you used on your zook (covering your head)? I can't quite make out if its one of MU's bikini tops without the straps or a different type? It almost all looks like one piece? Good quality workmanship by the looks of all these pics & comments anyway :) Pity most of the pic links are broken... Anyone got any higher res pics of the SWB combos of Bikini (both versions) + windjammer + tonneau?

Cheers, will be ordering a 3 piece soon I think

LOL! bugger.

Ok then, can anyone tell me the differences between the bikini with straps and the bikini without straps (and I'm talking about zook bikini's here, not the other type :P) Is there any advantage of one over the other? especially with the additional tonneau & windjammer?

Cheers,

Jo

Personal opinion: strapless MU canvas bikini top for suzukis is good and better as you will not have to straps going all the way to the rear of the car; in your way when you want to put on or take off thing out of the car. It should be less water leak as straps are cover by the over hang of the bikini.
The bikini with straps if you bay the 3 pieces the tonneau has 2 holes to be able to thread the straps at rear of the car for tightness, more chance of water leak. Is good because it will give you a little bit of shade at rear top off front seats.
Tightness of the bikini is the same in to versions.
Thanks for posting pics here as I didn't have this ones!
I will get on fixing the web site soon, sorry about that.

If anyone need extra pics or information please contact me on sales@mucanvasproducts.com I'll be more than happy to help.

BTW is any vitara owner close by my work shop that will be kin to help me to develop soft tops for this cars? Thanks.

So how do the wind jammers attatch to the car, cause I want one for my ute chopped SWB. But I'm not sure how they fit or if my car has the provisions to fit them due to the ute chop.

Anyone got pics of a sierra with and without the wind jammer on that shows where it attatches?

I had that problem...... The sides of the windjammer have a ribbed bit then you secure some C channel to the side. I don't have pics of how to do it but i would think you cound secure it somewhere!

Got my new custom windjammer all fitted up now. It's one of the best things I've done to my zook yet. It's now quieter (so I don't have to turn the stereo up full boar to hear over the exhaust), It cuts down heaps of drag hence gives me a higher top speed in 5th and better fuel economy, and best of all I don't get wet
