Can someone tell me if my entry has been recieved?
Like wise ..Nearly 2 weeks now and still no Confirmation...
The club has requested that entries be posted in - not only for this event - but for previous events also. As far as I know we have never sent out confirmations.
We request this to ensure that you secure a place in the event and to reduce the amount of administrative work and money handling on the day.
Once again - this event is run by a club - not a business. The post box is only emptied say once a week, not on a daily basis. Written confirmation would just be another cost placed on the club.
We COULD probably post peoples' names up on the Tough Tracks website as we receive the forms and the payments. It could just be updated by the secretary as the entries are received.
Would you guys like us to do this or would you like your names kept off the list? Maybe we could have a 'tick' box on the entry form if you want your name listed on the website.
Just a thought - always looking at ways to improve.

Anyone confirmed costings for accomodation?
Last i got from a phone call was $22 per night for competitors unpowered site... have since heard that is per head....
Is the club catering again... just trying to see if i need to plan a menu.

PLEASE NOTE - even though there is some disagreement amongst engineers as to whether 'cut down doors' are approvable or not, the Club decided in it's rules that it would not allow cut down doors. The Club re-affirmed this last week. It is quite with-in it's rights to include this rule as it is of a safety concern.
So - as per rule 2.4.2 'Cut down doors are not allowed'
Please ensure that you have full doors bolted on to compete.
thanks

I have recently replaced the doors on my house so I have 2 available for anyone that needs a set of doors. Can even supply bolts and bolt them on for those interested
Cheers
