Someone mentioned that the tracks had a little work done to them on Saturday during the day to help competitors get past the 5/10 point mark after Friday night's stuck-fest.
If this was done, it was obviously done to keep the crowd interested, and fair enough, but I think the fair thing to do in this situation would be to give everyone the average score, or just don't count the scores for the mud into the totals for the event.
A track should either naturally degrade, or if it's decided that it's an unfair or undrivable track for the majority of the entrants, it should be removed. You can't modify it after half the field has already run it.
Can someone confirm if the mud stage was truly modified, or is this just a rumor floating around?
