Here are a couple from the weekend - the first is a result of shaving down the upper bumpstops and removing the front swaybar :D

Is it just me or do the headlight inserts just not look good?

They should have done something to incorporate the grill and headlights together if they wanted to do that.

Thought I should post up - 91 LWB Exceed, 3.0 auto, 33 maxis mudders. Both sway bars removed, front stops trimmed, front torsion cranked 10 turns to level her up (was nose down)

Image

590 mm flex at this stage

Here is the flex with one radius bolt removed ! need longer shocks to make this a reality

sounds the the start of a bad pajero joke.

Looks sweet. Thats a massive body lift you have there. How much of the 7" is body lift and how much suspension? I would guess 3"susp and 4" body?

Yes, that´s right, 4" Delta Bodylift and 3" Trailmaster susp. ;)

Here is a friend's Pajero from a recent trial. It has a D44 front axle, GM14 rear, 3.0 engine and compressor, and coilovers. The tires are Simmex 36X12.5X16. The whole conversion was very succesfull and it is a very well balanced and capable car.

Just need a bullbar and to find an offset sunrasia that doesnt stick out 1/2 a ft.

No great plans for it, just wanting a decent 4by for family duties, then i doesnt matter what i do to the patrol

Nice looking rig - very clean!

Try your patrol rims on it. Looking at the front-on shot, you've got some room to fill the guards - some 265/75-16s on Patrol rims might do the trick.

in all honesty, that was the beer belonging to the guy that i got to take the pic cos he had a camera and a torch to hold.

i loathe the taste of beer *shudders*

and i certainly dont drink drive!

another pic from today, testing the tow capability :)

not as bad as i expected - thought itd get hairy being such a short wheelbase.

Image

car also seemed to sit quite well with the HD rear springs, and i used teh hydraulic adjustable suspension to help tilt the rear of the car up higher, bringing the angle of the ramps more shallow so the race car could get on easier.

handy :)
