Man those hot showers in the shearing quarters were like absolute heaven after sitting in that muddy paddock for two days, and the shearing shed, all nice and dry was like a five star hotel! Man we had a ball there the night before we left! Ash was a sorry arsed dude the next day!

Yep theres no way I would go away for 2weeks in the mud with out these facilities. As most days where finished covered in mud. Also having a station owner who is a top bloke also helps.
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY....

Hi Verena, we were chatting at Nyngan on the way home in the truck stop, hows the move to QLD treating you? All good I hope!

Hey with the photos, you need to upload them to an online photo site, like www.photobucket.com then copy and paste the links into the text you write.

Or you can email them to me and I am happy to upload them for you in a few minutes. my email is pberetta@tpg.com.au

Cheers, Paul

Here's a couple of pics courtesy of Verena Joyce (Full Noise).

This is taken out behind the woolshed at Nundooka.

The pics above and below are of the Nundooka Creek which spectators who have camped at Nundooka would have crossed in previous years

Thanks, Fish. I had no idea posting photos took so much technical knowhow - I'll stick to the GPS!!! We would like to say too how much we enjoyed the (short) week and our group (D). Amazing how every year you always get the best group and how everyone reckons the same. That's what you go back for (oh, and a bit of 4wdriving!!)
Western NSW had more rain this week, White Cliffs has had 4 1/2" total now, so it will be looking fantastic out there now.

Had heard there was a few teams running Garmin Chartplotter GPS's this year and they had some detailed mapping software running on them. Can anybody shed some light on what mapping software they were using?

Fish - I heard that there are topo's out now for Oz in the Garmins, is that what you're thinking of, I haven't bothered to look into it yet. Given how flat some of the nav paddocks were, they might not have been the detail you've heard of ?? Cheers, Verena
