Glad to hear all is working out OK... hope they did a good job on the plastic surgery on your thumb - it was one of your best features.

oh dear..

First time down to Walbundrie for us what can we expect in the way of showers and food?

Having read about previous rounds there I understand the football club was putting on breakfast. Will this be the case again or best to bring our own?

...with the new Albury bypass on the Hume, what is the best way to get to Walbundrie now (from Melb)?? Stick with taking the old hwy through town, or is there a better/faster route?

yep take the Corowa /Wahgunyah turn off after you pass the outskirts of wangaratta. follow the signs to corowa ,you will go past the wahgunyah turn off on the left ,past UNCLE TOBYS keep going straight over the new murray river bridge.you then come to a round about intersection turn right towards Albury, follow the road out past the big silos on the left, continue on about 3km take the second left (not the riverina hwy turn though) and follow this road about 28km you go past GOOMBARGANA HILL (ozrock venue last year).turn right at T intersection and this will take you to walbundrie. BTW this is a very detailed map ive described. And there will be signs this way from corowa onwards anyway.
Lockers or Knockers ,both will make for fun.

Going to be a big weekend.
Adds have been playing all week on 9 and Star fm, local news paper has done write ups and flyers have been out for weeks.
The Walbundrie pub has re-stocked with food, drink and DJ and new games have been sorted for the night entertainment.
The grass has been mowed at the footy club for camping eggs and bacon ready for breakfast and the rotary club have stocked for food and drinks during the days.
The crane and driver are on stand by and so are the media. Most buggies are just about ready (I hope) and I am just about to take off to set up everything.
So all we are missing are spectators.
If you want a big weekend of thrills and spills and a party type night life drop by and have some fun.
Note: Games and all nightlife is open to everyone, including spectators. :D
All food can be purchaced there, breakfast at the footy club, lunch at the site and tea at the pub all for good price. (so support the locals and eat and drink up).

See you all there Cheezy.
