just listened to it through my 7.4 home theater (7 surrounds and 4 subs) and holy crap it was a little quiet a first so turned it up and when he came around the corner my house was shaking
or if you want a better sound rent mad max 1 on dvd and near the start he is in the xb cop car , the camera starts off behind the car as he starts it up and that v8 rumble in dolby digital 5.1 surround is awsome

The ole Holden 253 V8 with a set of extractors into a 2.5inch mandrel bent single sports system ( the two engine pipes join around mid car ).
Great sound that many ppl mistake for a much bigger motor.

Rover V8s sound o.k but they only have the sound of a V8, and the power of a 4 cylinder luckly the engineers built in the economy of a V8 lol.
