its a paralell setup, one on each side of the v.

this all sounds good on screen but scania have been running a compound turbo system on some of there comerial fleets for about 4 years now and two of the five coaches i was driving were fitted with this type of system.
the diffence makes you drooool

One of the systems Scania runs is quite different.
It's using the second turbine (through a hydraulic coupling and gear train) to help drive the crankshaft.
