I am waiting for the 5.7 Hemi.
The Rubi also comes standard with 4:1 reduction transfer as well as the diff locks disconnects and plenty more tricks the japs will soon copy.
i have a mate of a mate who should be in the next week or two receiving his package from the states - 7L hemi (round 500bhp), atlas II, dana 60's (i think) etc, etc for his 4 door JK, only cost him bit under $40k from memory (cough cough). plan is to run 37's for street, bigger for play

he just sold his TJ, silly lift, 35's, supercharged, blah blah and is strating the new project, i think hammonds (capalaba brisbane) is doing most of the work - they get a free CRD as part payment, has already had the full inside restitched in leather with the SRT-8 badges here and there.

has found an engineer that god knows how, will let him go up to a 10L petrol donk   WTF

Where was this engineer when i wanted a piddly GEN3 in my little defender?? (which by the way cleaned the TJ's ass every time we wheeled!!!!!!)
1986 - Stage 1 V8 serIII style side ute - gone
1997 - 300 TDI 130 single cab ute - gone

Heck next they'll be copying things like 3.2 transfer case ratios, 4 wheel discs and coil spring live axles from 1971 Range Rovers :)
