Hello Zitoun - welcome to OL!
That's a great looking Paj - do you have any action shots?
In Australia we refer to that model as NL, they were sold from late '97 through until mid 2000. We didn't get the diesel in the shorty; only the 3.5 V6, and not many of those. They sold for almost as much as the lwb version, so most people opted for the larger vehicle.
Pity really, because they do look good.
Cheers,
Scott

SERIOUS COMMENTS ONLY WILL BE APPRECIATED !!!

Hi Zitoun,no I haven't done anything to the box(its the standard).
A new, low range reduction gears is under development in oz and will be soon finished.... 3.15:1 (standard is 1.90:1) which is 66% reduction over standard.Am I right Frank?

"RD110" is the part no. of the arb's front air-locker 4 the pajero. It was released on the 6/2004.Cost me +/_ 400 euros(purchase) plus 150+/_ (installation).
It's amazing!!! U will see what a (1 front) wheel can do!
(Of course it always depents on what terrain u r driving).
GO AHEAD!
What's the size of your tyres?
R the diff rations 4.636 or 4.900?
*I thought I was the only one -on the planet- , that has a "safari snorkel"
on his NL!!! and i was keeping it secret.javascript:emoticon(':oops:') I see now we r two.!!!?
Thanks Frank.As U saw I've found out how 2 post pics.(THANK GOD)
Now I have 2 find out how u put the emoticons on the posts.
HEY SCOTT R U THERE???????????????
This one is from last year Jan 04...

Hi Raspas!
Yes now we are two...euhhh NO!!! THREE, there's an other Pajéro in France with the same snorkel!! (and it's a V6 3.5
)
In fact, my snorkel is an Airflow snorkel for a TRITON... because in france it's impossible to find a snorkel for paj like me (us
)
My tires are BF Goodrich Mud 31/10.5/15. At the beginning, i would like 33/12.5/15 but for my utilisation, this tires are too big and increase too much the ratio reduction....
That's why, I am interrested by a low range reduction gear and change my 31/10.5/15 for 33/12.5/15
For the diff ratio, I don't know it...
I 'm going to find a picture of my paj in of road utilisation...
By and thanks you for your advice

Locknut,
How did you go getting up? did you hit your side steps on the log in the middle of the creek crossing? I didn the steps in the reverse direction but had to come up the slippery rocks on the other side. Unreal track!!!
