Hmm.

Since nobody mentioned it - 2 inch body lift and a bit of guard cutting and your Paj will fit 36's no probs :)

But hey - horses for courses.

Asking which of these two vehicles is better is like asking if syphilis is better than chlamydia. Yes one might be better to have than the other but they both suck. :finger:

Thankyou very much jeremy clarkson.

;) 1 right foot and the jackaroo will bounce over everything you put in front of it in 2wd, 4wd is more of a novelty for the old farts ;)

gotta love the Horsepower :D

;) btw, the 1992+ jackaroo's can fit 35's with just a 1" rear spring spacer and a front balljoint flip and spacer, just remove the plastic wheel arch crap, no grinder needed

they fit 33" stock standard - 285/75r16 either on the stock rims (not a legal 7" rimsize) or same offset 8" rims

;) too bad about the gearing, how much is 5.xx gearing for the pajero's? jackaroo's is $180 for 5.36

I couldn't agree more :D

when i first got my paj (completely standard trim) i went wheeling with a mate in his jackaroo and i always got further.
not sure what model his was but (all i remember was that it had a 3.5 v6 and i think it was a mid wheelbase with only 2 doors)

Maybe he couldn't drive!!

Not saying which is better as I'm biased towards Isuzu, and haven't driven either.

I did and bought a Prado instead. The Pajero got a look in at one stage, but the Jackaroo was never in the race.

a shorty 3.5L??

i thought they stopped the 2 doors in 95- which was still the 3.2L engine
i would hate to own that... just imagine the cost of body panels
