Aldi do not copy products, they rebadge them...

Honestly, I have not heard of any issues with their equipment yet.

I've been using one of their petrol $140 chainsaws around the house and camping. Given it a flogging.

It cuts wood.

I've taken it with me for firewood and it copes. Also cleared a tree that blocked the track - about 20cm diameter lodged chest high, dry, hard, dead. Bit slow, but you expect that. Saved backtracking 15km.

I'm sure a Stihl would be better, but at the price.

They have a compressor in this catalogue.

The air intake is through the crankcase, like the ARB. THis means the inlet valve is in the piston. That would help cooling. I wonder if it runs the same interseting rocking piston design.

Anyone seen this type before and care to guess how it flows compared to the new ARB? I'm sure it exists elsewhere under another brand.

I'm not talking longevity, just airflow. I know original ARB compressors that ust won't die, their owners wish they would so they can replace them with somethign that actually moves some air.

Sorry man i read it wrong, i have one of their electric staple guns lol but yeah, it did everything i said withour dramas...i'd buy thier gear again, trying to get the $500 for the winch this week...

That'd be me. They are without a doubt the most useless farking things ever made. I don't think it's physically possible to blow any less air any slower.

I recently bought one of their stainless steel BBQ's. Wasn't sure as couldn't see one set up in the shop but rang the head office who said there was a 2 year warranty if I didn't like it. Bought it checked it out full stainless and works great. The frame work is pretty thin like a lot of cheap stuff like that but the burners and everything is stainless and the hot plate is a solid 5mm plate so hard to go past. I'd be pushing it at work to make one for much less than that by the time I sourced burners and bits and pieces.
