Thanks Tony. They are a much better design. I knew they were available for all the dana stuff, but didn't know they made toyota ones?

Hi all...Ive been running ARB airlockers for donkeys years now in my last couple of vehicles and they are awsome and reliable.Dont know about the other locker brands,But you need to seriously considers lockers that can be turned on and off.A locked front makes the steering extremely hard and difficult,and turning circles become a joke.However,any locker is better than none.

saw a friend on the weekend and was told the prolocker has been 'shelved' and won't be manufactured anymore. anyone else heard the same?

Definately made the mind up on LOCKRITE front and ARB or TJM rear air operated, money is not my concern i could buy 2 ARB or TJM tomorrow im just not experienced in lockers so need opinions, i hav heard of ARB leaking air into housings and o rings busting and all sorts of caper.

but on the other hand i just want the cheapest but best combination, are the lockrite any good say if i had front and back lockrites with the rear left in a ditch and front right in the air would the lockrite still drive 4 wheels through, or spin uselessly sometimes..

If money ain't a problem, just get 2 airlockers!!

Then go out and play, you'll learn.

THis is one of the oldest arguments around, and its usually about money. If you've got it, just buy the air lockers. If not, just save a get the airlockers later 'cos you'll just end up gettin' 'em anyway.

Load of crap...

TJM now have their own plant that makes all parts for the pro locker in one spot instead of getting them made all around Oz and its now all under one one roof so if there is a prob with production they can go straight to the source and sort it out

The problem before was that the different parts where being made around OZ and one company made a certain part and another company made a certain part to different tollarences and the 2 parts wouldnt match and caused dramas..

I have fitted a lot of these lockers and have had not one customer come back yet with a complaint......

So my vote is for a TJM Prolocker

The tolerances are supposed to be in the design, not in the manufacturing. The problem typically lies in manufacturers not making the parts to specification - which includes the dimensional tolerances.
