Nope, you just assumed wrong. :D
Go back through my posts I asked why would you 4wd without seatbelts and then you offered some situations that you seemed to think were only applicable in NZ and I countered with those situations are also applicable her in Aus. I never said all situations rerquired seatbelts, only asked where they would

Was just a rant triggered by your own assumptions. There were no specifics given prior to that, only one comment that rivers don't need to be deep, just swift.

Carry on. :D

and there is just as many occasions when it would be better to be strapped into the vehicle rather than thrown from. If you haven't driven offroad in Aus you wouldn't understand it (whatever that means). We have rivers with fast moving waters so does NZ, we have steep hills so does NZ, we have snow driving so does NZ we have desert crossing so does UAE
just a counter point to your post. It is just as much a rant as yours is :?

Can we all stop ranting and agree that the majority say,
a. Airbags should not be played with,
b. Seatbelts save lives and should be worn.

Cheers

I agree we should all stop this ranting, as we all know the kiwis are
useless at rugby so must be good at something else....I suppose :D

Doesnt matter how fast your going a seatbelt is a good idea. A couple of months back a guy died a cityview the 4wd was chained up to stop it rolling off the side of a bank or something and the chain snapped. The 4wd rolled and as it rolled the guy fell half out the sunroof and was killed.

Bet his family is thinking wearing a seat belt at any speed is a good idea.

PS. thats the story I was told by the guy at city view cos I rang to book a trip as they were recovering the guys 4wd so I think its the correct version.

Anyway how hard is it to put on a seat belt?? Unless your to cool for it
