Front swivel hubs you'll be looking at around $500 all up as it is a shit of a job.
The other stuff is fairly minor, the "loose exhaust" could mean either a weld up job, or possibly a new exhaust (or section), and the other stuff is just bolt-in replacement items - not too much labour costs.

What of that stuff I should repair instantly? What can make the car break down? Or can I just drive it as long as everything drives fine?

If it was me, i would do EVERYTHING on that list, but would hold off on the exhaust. Most mechanics can do all of those repairs listed, however i would take it to a 4x4 specialist (the one you have been going to) to get the swivel hubs done. They can be a bit tricky, and it is very important to get them done right. Having one play up when your a long way from help would be BAD. Moreover they paid $100 for the check and I'll get the car for $5.000. I hope I made a good deal.
Are you mechanically minded at all?? Some of those parts are VERY easy to install yourself.....save some $$$$.......
Most of those are minor, but I would do them. The exhaust is not a critical issue, but it would be annoying if it starts falling apart.
The swivel hubs may not need doing straight away if the leak is only minor.

get an older troopie, ( alot cheaper) and spend some money making sure the driveline is right for your trip.
it will end up costing you LESS, it will be more reliable,cost less to fix, and you will not loose any money when you sell it.

Is there any reason why you are driving back to Sydney now? Because if you are going to tour Australia then Brisbane is a fine enough place to start.
Head north, then west and do it that way.

i am sure there is plenty places in brisbane that wil take yoru money to repair your truck. being a temporary resident however, will almost guarantee the quotes to be larger than normal at alot of shops.

I'd almost fly up and do it for you for $1500!!!! (not really)
Just to give you an idea, the parts for a swivel hub rebuilt cost around $150 not including wheel bearings. A local mechanic here only charges $500 for a rebuild.

I could do your front end rebuild if you buy the parts and are happy to pay for my labour.. I'd charge half what your quoted if you are keen. (weekend rates too!)
You would still have to buy the parts yourself though but thats easy enough.
