Bullbar is fine (TJM alloy), had to cut heaps of the back of the grill off. Though it still has the full grill appearance, only the fins are shallow.

No, I haven't seen a 3.9L 2 or 3L
I still think your probe is probably not reading the true gas temp as a 20 year old horse would outrun a diesel producing only 450-500C in a true reading
